KINGS OF LYDIA. Kroisos, circa 560-546 BC. Siglos (Subaeratus, 16 mm, 4.35 g), a contemporary plated imitation, irregular mint. Confronted foreparts of a lion and a bull. Rev. Two incuse squares, one larger than the other. Cf. Rosen 663 and SNG Kayhan 1024-1026 (for prototype). A very well made and attractive contemporary plated imitation. Very minor breaks in plating, otherwise, good very fine.
